Salto da Farinha Viewpoint

Ahead of the Ribeira dos Caldeirões Park, before entering the urban area of da Salga, another waterfall appears, with about 40 meters and more water flow during the winter months. The name Salto da Farinha comes from the grinding of cereals that was once made there. Taking advantage of the view that the place has on the sea, here was built a belvedere, equipped with park of snacks and toilets. Uns metros mais abaixo, encontra-se o Miradouro da Pedra dos Estorninhos, com ampla vista sobre o mar e uma zona para piquenique.
