Located in the southeast of Santa Maria, the parish of Santo Espírito is bathed by the Atlantic Ocean. It is integrated by the places of the Church Term, Malbusca, Calheta, Panasco, Glória, Cruz, Cardal, Boavista, Fonte do Jordão, Terras do Raposo, Lapa, Feteirinha, Almas, Santo António, Azenha, Loural and Maia.
Over a thousand wines and sparkling wines were tasted and evaluated. Of these, a total of 68 were awarded, most notably the Douro region, which won 28 awards.
