Renaissance and modern, Angra is marked by great historical feats, defender of the ideals of freedom. It is a monument town of manorial character, whose plant comes from the XV – XVI century and the 17th and 18th century houses. Much of its historic center is classified of Public Interest and included in the list of the UNESCO World Heritage.
