The ninth edition of the 16th Century Fair, an event held annually in Ribeira Grande, will be dedicated to the theme "Ribeira Grande and the Medieval Orders: People, Clergy and Nobility", focusing on social stratification in the medieval / sixteenth century. The chosen theme will present the main battles that defined Portugal from the fifteenth century onwards, and which were reverberated through much of our history until the 20th century, not forgetting the specific role of each social order of these times of th 16th century.
