Quinta das Mercês
The Quinta de Nossa Senhora das Mercês, privilegedly located in the protected area of Monte Brasil, on Terceira Island, grows from the sea line by an area of about 35 000 m2 to the interior of the island. It fully combines the maritime influence with a dense extension of Atlantic forest involving an architectural ensemble of great historical and cultural value.
