Located in the Natural Monument of Caldeira da Graciosa, the Furnas Visitor Center of Enxofre (CVFE) is the nucleus of the Biosphere Reserve and the Natural Park of Graciosa, also functioning as a gateway to Furna do Enxofre since 5 April 2010, the day of its inauguration.

Consisting of two floors, it is a building that safeguards the environmental quality, the strict respect for the values of geodiversity, biodiversity and the landscape and aesthetic balance. On the lower floor buried in the platform contains sanitary facilities and an exhibition area. Located on the top floor are the reception area, the entrance to Furna, bathrooms for people with reduced mobility and the area reserved for the dissemination, sensitization and observation of the landscape.
